Ms. Komal
Ms. Komal is a compassionate psychologist dedicated to the well-being of others. She obtained her M.Sc. in Psychology from Eternal University, Himachal Pradesh, where she demonstrated exceptional academic excellence.In 2022, she furthered her expertise by excelling in the Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology program at Punjabi University Patiala. Her commitment to excellence continued as she achieved success in her PGDRP at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, in 2023. With a wealth of experience in hospitals and healthcare organizations, she has honed her skills in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling for a diverse range of mental health issues.
Presently, she serves as a Rehabilitation Psychologist at World Brain Centre Hospital, Janakpuri, New Delhi, under the guidance of Dr. Neelesh Tiwari and Dr. Priyanka Verma. In this role, she offers invaluable support to individuals, families, and groups grappling with trauma, depression, and anxiety. Specializing in assisting individuals with unique needs such as traumatic brain injury or dementia, she excels in collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Committed to lifelong learning, Ms. Komal remains abreast of the latest advancements in psychology research. Her notable research endeavors include studies on the effects of depression on academic performance and psychological well-being among college students, as well as exploring social, psychological, and cultural motives in buying behavior, both of which have been published in esteemed psychology journals.
As a counselor for the past two years, Ms. Komal is recognized for her empathetic approach in guiding individuals through challenging life situations such as family separation and stress.
